850 x 2000mm Roller Banner FAQs

What size is a standard roller banner?

850 x 2000mm is the standard pull up banner size in the UK: 85cm wide and 2m tall. Set up your artwork at 860 x 2010mm, which adds 5mm bleed on every edge. A wider 1000 x 2000mm banner is also available if you need more room for a logo or photo.

How much of the banner is hidden by the base?

The stand base can cover the bottom of the banner, so treat the bottom strip as background only: no text, logos or faces. Keep everything important at least 160mm from the bottom edge and 10mm from the top and sides. Our template shades the strip the base can cover, so you can see it while you design.

Where should the logo and message go?

Put your logo and main message in the top third, where they are at eye level and can be seen over the heads of a crowd. Use the middle for a short list of services or an image, and keep the lower part simple, as tables and people often block it. Large type with few words works best.

What resolution does my roller banner artwork need?

150dpi at full size is enough, which is about 5100 x 11,900 pixels for the full 860 x 2010mm page. Logos and text saved as vectors stay sharp at any size, so check only your photos. The automatic check warns you about low-resolution images before you pay.

How do I set up a roller banner?

Stand the base on the floor, fit the pole into its socket, then pull the banner up from the base and hook its top rail onto the pole. To pack it away, unhook the rail and let the banner roll back down slowly into the base. Prices on this page include VAT at 20%.
